The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George

the little paris bookshop 5 out of 5 stars!

This story is about a man who owns a bookshop. He prescribes books to people who he thinks might need it, whether it be for coping, adventure, love, how to fix things, etc.. He does this for others, but not for himself.

He’s lost a love and has never recovered from it. He shut himself out from the world, people, relationships; He hurts, yet he doesn’t try to heal. One day, he comes across a letter from his love that changes all that and brings him to go on an adventure that will get him everything he could ever want.

I must say, it has been a good long while since reading a book with so much emotion! I have not had any interest in those types, but I am so glad I read this one!
This book has that perfect summer-reading vibe. The whole way through I was wishing I could be relaxing on a boat in the sun (the characters travel by boat).
This book speaks of LOVE. PASSION. SADNESS. GRUDGES. FORGIVENESS. Ugh! This was such a great read. And it ended SO BEAUTIFULLY. I would absolutely be recommending this book to my bookworm friends.
Fantastic read. It was like a breath of fresh air.
